Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
What I miss since I moved away from Harringay
I've had to move away from Harringay temporarily and here's what hurts:
Coffee
There's no decent coffee in Torquay. Seriously. It's weaker than Starbuck's or something you'd give a child and if there's foam it's artificial and crunchy. Yesterday I drove 8 miles so someone would put a proper foam on my coffee. I think some of the Torquay coffin dodgers would keel over if faced with an evil black turkish coffee from Cafe Lemon in all its fruity, grainy yumminess.
I don't care if I sound like a London ponce, good coffee is important!
Shops
Everywhere shuts at 5 and nowhere is open Sundays. What if I want to buy fresh broccoli at 11pm? WHAT THEN? I'd have to drive to Green Lanes where I'd have my pick of late-night grocery shops for those midnight brassica cravings.
Food
Mixed Gozleme from Hala for lunch, yellow lupin beans from Yasar Halim with a glass of cold beer, a crunchy falafel wrap from Flame. Buttery spinach boreks. Bastik and olives from Michli and Sons. A beer and a pizza in the Salisbury. Pancakes with syrup at Cafe Lemon. Sausage sandwiches in Cafe Lemon. Actually, anything at all in Cafe Lemon.

Do they specialise in horse meat in green lanes? my understanding was that it was a country wide problem, I wasnt aware that findus and tescos etc only targeted there horse meat at HARRINGAY area?
I also have some of the best and most loyal friends I have ever had in this area so not sure how living in harringay means that people will stab you in the back literally or figuratively any more than living in an other area of london.... or even the country ..... maybe you need to look at your choice of friends and rather than where you are living ?

Oh dear people read between the lines again. I was not saying horse meat is only based in harbinger I was stating that it is a real pleasure to visit a local farm and be safe in the knowledge that what you ask for is what you get and of course as you stated this is a European issue. Secondly I was making a comment with regards crime figures generally and making reference to how safe Devon is in comparison to haringey you only need to look at the statistics to see how correct I am why on earth

Would I suggest this is only an issue in green lanes and not in any major city finally my circle of friends again I didn't mention friends at all, have a great day
