Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

On the ladder there's a few houses that have painted the exterior a sort of light grey.  Can anyone who's painted there house in that, tell me the 'name' of that grey?  I've had trouble matching it.

see below..

Thanks

Probably Farrow and Ball - goes with the plantation shutters and kitchen/loft extensions which are springing up all over the Ladder.

Ah, so Ladder inhabitants' propensity or penchant for acquisitive mimetic desire has spread to exterior decoration. I wonder what René Girard would have to say about this. He'd probably tell you that, light grey or Harringay red, it's still bloody bad for your brickwork. Of course if your only ambition is to sell your load of bricks for £1million through Winkworth, possibly light grey would help.

It's known as "Harringray" (some people spell it "Haringrey"; they are wrong).

Ask your friendly paint mixing machine for "Wood Green", but without the verdure.

:)

(I think it does need to be a breathable paint btw, these houses were built with lime mortar and the wrong paint - or repointing with cement mortar for that matter - can cause damp problems).

We just painted our house on Langham Road a lovely grey - Dove Gray in fact. It looks very similar.
