Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Attached is a speadsheet derived from Ward road traffic casualty statistics over the past decade.  I have made cumulative comparisons and fitted poynomial trendlines [so any errors are mine].  Click 'no' if asked whether to update or you'll get a blank graph.

Great job. This is from the FOI info I sent you some weeks back, I take it. In other words the data on which your work is based is from the Council. Am I right?

Yes, totally.  Finally got into some detail.  Was stimulated into doing the graphs after having driven through the Gardens yesterday - the bollards were down.  Turns out that this side of Green Lanes has had more serious casualties all along.  Makes me feel conned.  Always felt a great deal of sympathy for Gardens groups wanting to protect their area.  You and me paying for bollards and having our perfectly legitimate concerns ignored now feels like a distateful bit of local politiking.  I guess the Labour group just wanted to bolster their hold on St Ann's and don't particularly care about this side since it's two thirds Lib anyway.  The Haringey divide.

Must read through the signatures to see if Gina or Nilgun have supported the Petition.

Big up Gina - well done and thankyou!  Perhaps I was wrong about Labour.  Now what about the others . . . . . ?

. . . . . and if you're a motorcyclist, your historical risk of serious injury has been 50% higher on Harringay Ward than on St Ann's Ward! [Same analysis as previously].
