Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

.

The Americans have arrived.

9 Opreys flew over Harringay lunch time towards central London, with a number of them then circling Harringay low for about 20 mins. Strange site. Guess they heard all our councillors and Lammy signed a statement against the Trump visit

Someone else's video of Ospreys elsewhere

Shame I'm at work would have loved to see these beasts.

Last time (President Obama, April 2016, thread link http://www.harringayonline.com/forum/topics/obama-s-harringay-flyby ) there were four, tops. Nine this time - small hands overcompensation surely.

See them, yes, but the sound is something else. Frightened the birds out of the trees, the first one.

War of the Wards!

Was tricky getting shots wasn't it. They'll have you and I video ID'ed now

More excitement for aircraft fans tomorrow

RAF 100th Anniversary Flypast

Oh...I thought that was today and these were for the flypast. That's me told.

Trump isn't here for a few days yet?

Arrives Thursday 12th, pops off to Blenheim House outside London for a slap up meal, back to US ambassador's residence in Regents Park. Full schedule here. There are 3 protests planned;

  • 5:30pm Thursday Regents Park
  • 2pm Friday, assemble Potland Place (nr Oxford Circus), march to Trafalgar Square, rally held there 5:30
  • Another march Saturday central London

I saw 3. Certainly was different. I had no idea what they were for.

They are for the tangerine rug wearer who is visiting this week. You can entertain yourself with http://trumpdonald.org/

No need for that site for entertainment.

The utter lack of knowledge of the commenters on this site when it comes to facts concerning the US president--be it the content of his statements, his accomplishments (both presidential and academic--he did graduate from Wharton) and/or popularity is entertainment enough. Hopefully you have 6+ more years of such entertainment in your link because he'll be around for that long.
