Hi Steve, it's an old rocket lamp (like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/1960s-1970s-Vintage-Retro-Rocket-Lamp-Flo...) so has two bulb sockets and turns out is a bit more complicated than a normal lamp. Would this still be something you may be able to do?
