WIN! UCKG bid to get planning permission to turn the cinema into a church, rejected by 7-0, all councillors against.

Now the process of getting it off the uckg begins - no doubt they will make it as difficult as possible.

Can a campaign/community group get a compulsory purchase order, or is it only the state?

They'll have to hire a lobbyist to get the correct legislation in place to try again a few years down the road...
