Volunteering opportunities at Open House (Open City)

Open House London office Volunteers
The Open House London team are currently looking for core office volunteers who are able to commit to 1 to 2 days per week from January 2013 up to the annual event in September - although many of our core volunteer team stay with us for years!

The task load is varied and includes:
- telephone work
- researching and recruiting buildings
- researching potential funding opportunities
- database and web work
- supporting our press and publicity campaign
- envelope stuffing.

Open-City finance volunteer
Open-City has a number of regular core volunteers who support the organisation on a variety of programmes and projects. The organisation is looking for an invidividual who has some experience with numbers and data entry. The role would involve 1 day a week in the Open-City office and ideally someone looking to volunteer long term meeting new people and becoming part of the team.

The task load and personal specification will include:
- telephone work
- database entry
- Experience working with numbers is desirable
- strong organisation skills
- Looking for a regular volunteering role and meeting new people
