and sadly, this is what happens to the withdrawn 1967 tube stock..

 

Very sad, especially for those of us who remember them when they were brand new in September 1968

The last 1967 tube stock train in service..

 

I wonder why they used the incorrect March 1969 on the sign  (when Stage 3 of the Victoria LIne was opened) and not September 1968 (when Stage 1, the Walthamstow - Highbury section opened).. Oh of course, NE London is not important...
