Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Thanks to our neighbours at stroudgreen.org for this one:

Southern trains are doing a deal for £10 off peak and you can go on as many of their trains as you can in one day. you have to book 7 days in advance. I really recommend some of beaches in the south coast near Eastbourne. Very well signposted and easily reachable by bike (NCR2). The trains have bike carriage (brown stripes on door) so its so easy! Lovely pubs with good food.

Or if you get this one you can go on the bus as well. I like to take the train to Brighton and get the bus up to Devil's Dyke and have a walk across The Downs.

I love walking down there. The Seven Sisters walk is a truly beautiful site. You can start at Eastbourne and go all the way thru to Seaford, about 11 miles. Quite strenuous but worth it. Or you can stop off at the Birling Gap, take a dip in the sea and then go back. Or, start at Seaford and just walk over to Cuckmere Haven where there is a small beach on the estuary. I never tire of that walk and often just go alone, there are always folk up there even on a blowy winters day.
Thanks so much for pointing that out Hugh - great deal, we'll be using that for sure.
Always with a smile!

Enjoy!!
