VE Day 75: online resources on HOL and from Bruce Castle Museum

On Harringay online we have a number of photos from World War Two in the Gallery and some past discussion threads on the war in from the forums

Here's one of an evacuee from Woodlands Park School who was sent to Huntingdonshire in 1940

There appears to have been a consistent link with East Anglia and Harringay in both wars possibly because it was easy to get to on the train from here.

Personally I adore this picture of Tottenham librarians and land girls, Miss Wallace and Winnie Evans in Bedfordshire.
