Either would make lovely walk on a sunnny day.
The first is along Cecile park in Crouch End. Most of the pink flowered trees are quite young and the lovely blossom just gets better every year.
It is a pleasant walk from Harringay train station and back to Green Lanes on the W5 bus from Crouch End.
From the station, walk uphill over the footbridge and turn right in a few yards by the library. At the top of the hill turn left and walk all along Mount View Road. Admire the view across London from the reservoir and turn right into Womersley road. Cecile Park is at the bottom. It ends where it joins Crouch Hill. To go home by bus turn right, downhill, and keep right at the clocktower, stopping to buy a hot cross bun at Dunns as you pass. The W5 stop to Sainsbury's is on your left.
The second is Cranley gardens which is longer with older and pinker trees. Get the W7 bus from Finsbury Park and get off at the Victoria Stakes pub. Turn left as you get off the bus (away from Alexandra Palace gates) and Cranley gardens is immediately on your right by the church. You can walk all the way up to Muswell Hill road or turn left into Connaught gardens where you'll find an entrance into ancient, shady Queens Wood. At the far side there's a café and, behind it, a volunteer-run, organic vegetable garden. You can retrace your steps or use Google Maps to find Holmesdale road and the start of the Parkland walk down to Finsbury Park.

I went along Cranley Gardens today - just about fully in bloom throughout - splendid. An alternative destination could be to turn right at the top of Cranley Gardens - you will reach the start of Muswell Hill Broadway which will then take you to the start of the W7 route back to Finsbury Park. The Everyman Cinema just off left along the way is a good spot for a sit down, a coffee and an appreciation of the English Heritage-listed architecture.
Cecile Park is looking stunning right now. I suspect it will have a lot of people taking selfies amongst the pretty pink blossoms this weekend!
Thank you Jennifer for this post. I was feeling a bit under the weather today but I saw your message and I decided to walk up to Cecile Park. The trees were glorious! It really lifted my mood. I am familiar with the gorgeous trees on Cranley Gardens but I’d never walked along Cecile at this time of year. Nature is so healing ❤️🩹
