TV got fried by the lightning

Hi,

We are on Duckett Road, and it appears that our TV got fried during one of the lightning strikes just now, it went off just as the lighting was striking around our house.

Now there is no standby light when we plug it in.

Does anyone have any idea who could repair the TV or take a look if it is repairable?

Any help is appreciated.

No advice on the TV repair I'm afraid but there was an almighty bang at around 4pm yesterday (25th July). I'm on Wighman Road (top of Pemberton). It sounded like lightning struck VERY nearby.
