We have just used Ward Aerials http://www.wardaerials.co.uk to fit a new aerial after HoL recommendation. Not cheap but they were professional, quoted for several different options and came when they said they would- another HoL (sole trader) recommendation unfortunately cancelled several times due to personal circumstances. We can now watch TV again!

Hi Lucia thanks for letting me know about Ward aerials

Chris

I've used Hans Dulfer in the last two properties where I have had to sort out aerials. He solved the unsolvable in the dip behind the hill in Crouch End and managed to get us excellent reception when another company let me down so we used him to completely tv wire up our house when we renovated ours in the ladder and he and it has never let us down. He's a very friendly reliable guy who explained everything to us in terms we could understand and didn't seem too expensive to us although I don't think he is the cheapest either - he seems to put in high quality equipment that lasts but probably costs a bit more. His company is Starling Digital and you can get him on 07919 342 310 and starlingaerials@yahoo.co.uk

Hi Pechester thanks for your reply

Chris

If you have a Virgin cable connection in your home (which is common around here) you can get all the free to air channels using an adaptor that you can buy in Maplins for a couple of pounds.

Hi John thanks for your reply. Could tell me a bit more how this works, I have virgin internet coming into the house can it work from that do you know?

Thanks

Chris
