Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Traffic lights at junction of Endymion Road/Green Lanes skipping pedestrian phase

As it says in the title, flicking between Endymion Road traffic, and Green Lanes N/S traffic, without ever going all red so pedestrians can cross. Reported to TfL and got the standard response that fault now recognised and will be fixed "within 28 days". Hopefully a good deal sooner!

If you're walking that way, best cross by the turning into the retail park instead.

On the same theme, the pedestrian crossing across Green Lanes in the block between Stanhope & Rutland Gardens has frequently, over the years since it was refurbished, forgotten that the button has been pressed. You press the button, it goes red, then a little bit late the red lights switch off even though there has been no green man.

It doesn't do this every time, but it does it quite often....

Some bright person on here once timed the lights for the crossing at Iceland and found that there was no difference wether pressed or not; it just gives the pedestrian something to do while waiting.

I've found with the Endymion lights that unless the button has been pressed, there is no pedestrian phase.
