Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Tollgate pub closed

I'm sorry to see that the Wetherspoons pub in Turnpike Lane- the Tollgate- has closed, leaving the immediate area without a pub. Although some have strong feelings about 'Spoons, it was generally a friendly place with a good range of cheap beers and food. I believe another pubco may be taking the premises, but i doubt they will offer such good value....

Tollgate pub has re-opened and now serving. It's run by friendly staff and is perfect as it's opposite us where you can pick up a book to read with your pint.
