I learnt this evening that the "timed tickets" for the weekend opening are all gone - they were limited to 420 over the two days. Unless you've got a ticket already, you're out of luck. I suspect there is probably significant unsatisfied demand and you wanted to go and now can't you might voice this to the Palace authorities, asking when will be the next open day. I understand 600 visited on the last Open Day.
