Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Thursday 9th June: Meeting arranged by Local Group with Panel from Haringey about all Enforcement issues

Ian Sygrave at the Ladder Community Safety Partnership has organised a meeting this Thursday to cover all enforcement related issues including,

  • anti-social behaviour
  • noise
  • litter/dumping
  • planning
  • licensing
  • serious criminal behaviour.

A panel of council and police representatives will speak briefly and then take questions.  Ward councillors have also been invited.

All residents from Harringay are welcome, including those the Ladder, Gardens, Hermitage, Green Lanes and Woodlands Park). Sadly those from other parts of the borough cannot be accommodated.

Below is Ian's message about the meeting.

Our next meeting (7pm, Thursday 9 June, Harringay United Church as usual) is going to be a very special one. In response to members’ requests, the meeting will be entirely devoted to the topic of Enforcement.

We will have Guest Speakers, followed by Q & A, from the Council and Met Police, plus of course Ward Cllrs, covering the entire range of enforcement issues – asb, noise, litter/dumping , planning, licensing and serious criminal behaviour.

It is a rare event to have officers from all these different areas in the same place at the same time, so I do hope you will be able to attend.

The meeting is at 7PM in the church at the bottom of Allison Road. It will be in the main church building: the entrance from the side, on the right as you face the front of the building.
