Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I thought instantly of the Warehouse District when I saw this, and it is

of course relevant to everyone in Harringay, taking on home improvements.

The key is just to Be Aware:

Thanks... I have a textured ceiling in my hallways I want to remove, not sure whether to do it myself or get someone in, maybe the latter would be more sensible.  Property was built 1970 so it's possible there's asbestos.  Or maybe plastering over it would be better?

There are DIY products available for covering up a textured ceiling. First rule of asbestos is leave it in place if it's currently stable, so don't disturb it e.g. by sanding it.
