Saturday (18th March) is the third of the month so 10:30 is the start time for the Repair Café in Broadwater Farm. We have a range of stuff to help bringers fix as usual and room for more so will you come down and lend us a hand?
We have a John Lewis Lamp that keeps on shorting, The Privileg sewing machine motor slowed down and then stopped working all together. I.e. nothing happens when the pedal is pressed, When you put the kettle on it’s base it isn't lighting up or working, We hav a Robert Portable Radio that plays for a bit and then turns itself off and makes a high ringing noise. The Samsonite Aeris wheel is stuck. “It is a suitcase that is more than 10 years old, but my mother loves the thing. Therefore, I like to see if I can repair it before forcing a new one on her.” There’s also a Samsung Tablet “Cracked screen Loud speaker too low Weak battery I have all the parts and tools. As it would need to be opened for one fault, it seemed to make sense to replace all the components at once.” and a Samsung mobile phone with a Sound problem. Speaker not working
Please book a free volunteer, observer or repairer ticket and\or bring something in we can help fix
Oh and don’t forget, if you would book a free ticket to see a favourite film at 6pm on Fri 31st March in the BWF Community Centre, please please pick which film you’d like to see from this list: https://forms.gle/b3Mfev6GKUxNemGXA
