Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

The Ladder in art

I got "The Complete Pictures of Gilbert and George" as a gift and leafing though it the other day came across a work called "City Beach" which is based on a photo of Duckett Road (tried to find an online link to the picture without any luck). Anyone else come across The Ladder as an artist's muse?

Interesting. Shame we can't find an image anywhere.

And a good question Michael. It would be nice to unearth some more Harringay art (I'd actually go wider than just the Ladder)
