The future of the ill-fated Handean
Walking past the former Hanrdan the other day, we noticed that half of it was being refurbed, I asked what it was to become and was told it's to be a Somalian. We had an Eritrean-Sudanese restaurant in the form of Muna, but I don't think a Somalian before. I assume that the cuisine might be similar.
(Muna's closed in 2012 and was replaced by Jam in a Jar in 2013, I think.)

There used to be a Somalian restaurant on Wightman road near the station, but it didn't stay open for long.

There's Brothers restaurant in Bruce Grove, my Somali colleague tells me it's the best.
