Another compliment on your Warham planters (first pic?), Mrs. I always notice and appreciate them as I go by, whether by car or on foot. 

I love those Cardinial red(dish) Hollyhocks (last pic). There's a similar plant alongside the church at the bottom of Allison. I hope it hasn't been killed by the insect hotel installation works.

The first three are from the street garden. I have pink and deep red in the garden but I like the contrast between the "black" hollyhock and the peach coloured one in the box nearest my house. The white hollyhocks have a delicate yellow hue inside. They are quite beautiful.

I don't think the Allison ones bloomed this year. I did look. Further up Allison is a lovely front garden display of dark pink hollyhocks. When I went to Norfolk last year, nearly every front garden seemed to have hollyhocks - it looked amazing.

Sorry, not Harringay only Haringey...
