Taking part in the OPAL Tree Health survey?

Our trees are under threat from the increasing number of pests and diseases attacking them.

The government has already stepped up its activity to protect trees, and you can help too, by taking part in the OPAL Tree Health survey, designed in collaboration with Forest Research and FERA. There are only a few weeks before our trees start to lose their leaves for the winter so take part now! 

You don't have to be an expert on trees as they will send you a free pack which includes a handy tree ID guide poster and all you need to know about completing the survey.

The survey itself only takes about 30 minutes to complete. Learn more about the trees around you whilst at the same time contributing valuable data on the state of our trees.
