Woodlands Park Road new SCHOOL PEDESTRIAN STREET ZONE coming into effect from 7th March!! I have just noticed that the signs are up and a very small notice from the council put on a nearby land post. PLEASE AVOID during restricted times 8:30 to 9:30 am and 3:00 to 4:00 pm. If you go through during the restricted hours you get a £130 fine reduced to £65 if you pay early.
Here are other school streets with new restrictions.

Hi
I have placed a small notice on the door of your building to let everyone know. Only those who are parked in the restricted area can exit without being fine. If you are entering at one end and exiting the other end, that is considered accessing the restricted zone and you will get a fine. I have found out today, that only those living within the restriction got a letter. I must say it is a bit upsetting that the council does not communicate this to the rest of the road and nearby roads.
Good luck with your appeal.

This might be helpful, it is where we were directed to before the Chestnuts School street was implemented. There is a link to apply for a residents exemption.
I live close to Chestnuts school and I did get a letter before that school street was implemented last year. I haven't had a letter about the West Green School street.
JulieB- Do you remember if it was a letter addressed to you or a leaflet drop?
Sorry I can't remember, I think it was a leaflet drop rather than having my name on it.
Oh just found a copy! It was addressed to 'the resident'.
