Swifts hit new low as poor weather takes its toll
If you thought that you weren't seeing many swifts this year, you're right.
Their mass migration has been hit by stormy weather in the Med and then wet weather in Northern Europe, as well as lack of suitable nesting sites.
The RSPB are urging people to record sightings on their website here.

I was wondering where the Swifts had gone. I am fascinated by them and love seeing them. I haven’t seen any this year.
