Support Our Sheila (SOS)

Almost 70,000 people from across the planet have signed a petition to back Cllr Bull after the whip was withdrawn from him from the mighty Labour leadership for daring to oppose day centres closures (inc. two in his own ward). It is worth remembering that Cllr Peacock was given a nasty written warning too. She is certainly a Bolshy and colourful character at times - I have known and fought with her for 28 year and she may be a pain in the backside, but she's our pain. Sheila has worked tirelessly for our borough to, mostly, good effect. It's high time her many contributions - in all their different forms - were recognised. She has given plenty of nasty warnings to people, Karma?

The one that took the cake was asking a young mother in Tottenham that I know if she had had a visit from social services yet to end an argument.

Fine. She also used her council (Mayoral!) email address to speak up for a relative in trouble with social services in another borough and got barely a slap on the wrists. Care to remind people that you are an ex student of hers Justin?
