Harringay online

Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I am looking at Google Maps and can not work out an easy and fast way to commute between Stroud Green (Tesco area) to Royal Free and back.

Forgive me if I should know but is the overground from Crouch Hill running on weekdays? It is showing me 18 minutes for 2 bus stops to Gospel Oak via some bus replacement service.

I never normally go that way but other routes are even longer.

If anyone know of a fast, reliable way of commuting between Stroud Green and Royal Free - can you please share the secret?

Going via Euston or Camden seems crazy...

Thanks a lot

Re the GOBLIN line right now, see Glen's recent post.

Here are the routes suggested by Google Maps.

I had a couple of appointments at Royal Free last year, the first time I walked in less than an hour - so maybe not viable as a regular commute - second time I cycled in less than 30 mins. I'm in Harringay rather than Stroud Green so a bit further than you. And I'm not the fittest person so "your mileage may vary"!

I cycle that way to work but if for some reason I'm not on my bike and the Gospel Oak - Barking line is out of action I take the tube from Finsbury Park to Highbury & Islington and change onto the Overground there - which takes you to Hampstead Heath station for the Royal Free.

Crouch Hill to Gospel Oak, Gospel Oak to Hampstead Heath on the Overground no?
