After a six month drought (of steam locomotives, too), consecutive days' service at Harringay.
Another chance to see 'Sir Nigel Gresley' on Friday 2 December at about 0905, an hour earlier than previously stated. It calls at Finsbury Park so shouldn't be racing through on its way to the Lincoln Christmas Fair. Last visit it was raining, gloomy light and the train was running late, plus the engine is in unphotogenic plain black livery. I hope for better conditions on Friday.
The following day sees a return for 'Duchess of Sutherland' (the red engine, strictly LMS crimson lake) about 0900, heading for the same destination.
The final steam excursion of the year should be with 'Mayflower' (the apple green engine) on Friday 9 Dec at Harringay GREEN LANES about 0820 (time may change), though the operator has form for substituting a diesel at a few days notice.
