I often Report bad roads surfaces - holes and pavements
And get a reference Number
Has their ever been a Board - Space for logging such report's
Be handy if a user wanted to claim for long delay in being fixed
As it seems they Only get repaired if reported by Residents

Do you use Fix My Street at all? The website sends stuff to the council for you but it has the advantage of being to upload photos and update whether the problem is being fixed. You can also see where other problems have been reported. This is a map of the problems in my immediate area. Here's an old problem that I kept a record of via FMS which was sorted and another which has yet to be really fixed.
For getting rubbish removed, the Report a Problem page via the button that John mentions is the most effective but for larger problems that can potentially drag on, Fix My Street is also valuable.
