Spare Jam Jars?
Does anyone have any spare glass jam, chutney or mayo jars that they are happy to see being put to some reuse that they might have lying around? A few of us have just scrumped some pears from a tree in a neighbours garden and want to make pear chutney. I am happy to come and pick them up.

I have a box full of jam jars - my dad used to make jam and marmalade and all the family saved jars - when he died I couldn't break the habit. I live in Tottenham hale so am some distance - I could drop them off or you could collect

Hi. Thats really nice of you. And not a bad habit to have. If it is conveninent to drop then in if you are passing then wonderful, there is usually someone in in the day. Alternatively I can come get them as I would not want you going out of your way. I will contact you on your Wall and let you have my details.
