Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Lookit these beauties, through South Tottenham station this morning. Cathedrals Express on its way to Norwich.  It actually stopped at the station, but nobody told me in time to change platforms so I missed the chance to do vox pops with the passengers.

TWO engines!

BRing it back !

The stop for a crew change right across the station was a surprise! I was on the up platform & got these shots.

I see now that it had to switch tracks to be able to take that northbound curve - not a bit of line that gets used often (unless there's a lot of freight goes that way?).

One passenger train every Saturday morning (around 05:45!) to avoid having to go through closure procedures and a small amount of freight traffic. Also the Rail Head Treatment Train (water cannon - blue tanks with a GBRf diesel loco at either end) for a few more weeks to/from base at Broxbourne until the end of the official leaf fall season.
