Solid wood flooring: any recommendations?
Can anyone recommend a hard wood flooring company in north London with a showroom? A quick search online has revealed ESB flooring in NW9 and the Solid Wood Flooring Company in Wembley, but I wondered if there was anywhere nearer and/or better? Any recommendations would be great!

Great wood yard in Wood Green who would sell you the basic materials and probably know of many people to fit them without paying for a shop front ...
Otherwise there was a woof flooring company next to the petrol station on park road near the park road swimming pool. Not so sure about a show room, never looked in. They seemed to be operating from shipping containers.

We used Jordan Andrews in Crouch End: http://www.jordanandrews.com/. They are notoriously rude so don't go in expecting people to be courteous to you ... but the showroom does at least have quite a lot of different types of woods and stains on display.

There is a wood flooring company near the junction of Alexandra Road and Turnpike Lane. Its not on Google but might be worth a look. Re Jordan Andrews, as said they are rude and unhelpful and also very expensive!

We've used Jordan Andrews twice for engineered wood flooring (which is supposed to be more stable than solid wood flooring in general) - we were very happy with their work. It's also lasted well, given the impact of 2 young children....
