Snowflakes and freezeframes

Hugh's snowy New River Christmas photocard reminded me to reissue my annual invitation.

If it snows in the London area and you get some good photos, please consider adding them to the Flickr group Snowday London.

I started this group as a small project to invite and bring together photos taken on 5/6 April 2008 and posted on Flickr. I expected a few hundred. It passed a thousand and people have since added several thousand more photos and videos from winters after and before. 

So please capture and share more of the beauty and excitement of snowballs and tobogganing, magically melting colours and transformed gardens, streets, rooftops, parks and squares. And romance of course.
