Hi Rebecca, did you go for the Changing curtains shutters? how are you finding them?

I am only going to ask a few quotes for solid shutters as they all seem to be similar in terms of price, but I do wonder if the materials and finish are similar too. I am considering asking changing curtains, bespoke shutters and perhaps another one.  Are you happy with the material and finish?

thanks

We paid about £1200 three years ago for shutters and they are beautiful. We used Clement Browne. We had cafe style for 3 sash windows in front bay. This included hidden tilt and colour matching to a particular colour I wanted. We went for 89mm louvre size and 100% FSC Grade White Teak.

I have been told a few times now that wherever you get your Shutters from here in the UK they basically come from one of two factories in China and ALL shutters come from these 2 factories!!   So they are all the same!

I guess it just means you want a good reliable fitter etc...

Hi.  wondering if anyone here has gone forward with an order at all?

We have a quote of about £2000 from Bespoke which seems pretty good for our 4 sash, front bay window (each window nearly a meter wide and over 2 meters high) so like having 4 sets of shutters really...

Have used http://www.diamondwindowshutters.co.uk/ twice (front of property and rear). Fully recommend.
