We are about to start looking soon so any info would be great.  We have been recommended these - http://www.bespokeshutters.com/

Just in the process of getting our windows replaced so not on to shutter quotes just yet,

Hi Penny, we have had 3 quotes and are getting the forth on 04/02 i will post the details. The best one so far price wise is from the link you posted and he said he had put them in on a few houses in my area

Would be interested to hear...thanks. I got the details of bespoke from our window guy. He said they are ready good, local and a few of his clients have used them. We'll def get a quote from them.

We got ours from Bespoke Shutters. We had quotes from four other companies. Bespoke beat the next lowest quote by £150.

I don't really have anything to compare them to, but the quality seems good. It did take longer to get them than I had hoped. One of the panels was the wrong size, so we had to wait for the manufacturer to send the correct one from China.

In general, we're very happy that we got shutters. We have a large bay window that's actually five separate wooden sash windows. Last winter, the room was freezing. It feels much cozier now.

We were recently quoted by Changing Curtains on Archway Road and were roughly quoted for a living room with a bay window consisting of 3 sash windows in a Victorian terrace:

£1200 MDF or £1775.00 in wood inc install if that helps at all..

They do come with excellent reviews and we are going ahead with it.

Hi Rebecca, The above link that Penny posted quoted for our downstairs bay

MDF 1150

Georgia 1300

Basswood 1350

Ah I see, ours is three separate windows in a bay structure, no idea if that makes a difference or not..

Are these prices for 'cafe style' or full bay window shutters?

We've organised quotes with 3 companies:

http://www.bespokeshutters.com/

http://clementbrowne.co.uk/

http://www.diamondwindowshutters.co.uk/

good question, that was for  tier on tier downstairs and full shutters upstairs

we have clement browne coming next week, we had quotes from

http://www.m2mexpress.co.uk/ Can't remember exactly but was expensive

http://www.bespokeshutters.com/  2100 mdf

http://www.appealshading.com/  2800 mdf

thats three seperate bay windows downstairs and upstairs and an extra window updstairs

Let me know if diamond windows are cheaper please

Thank you! We just received a much better quote from bespoke ..

Happy Days

Oh, good to know!!
