How about some of you fit young cultured and arty types get out on this glorious evening and shovel snow from the front of your house and a couple of others? We've also done the lovely passage between Lausanne and Frobisher.
I agree that this is an easy courtesy we can show other people. I was clearing show last year because I had an elderly guest coming and after I did my garden path I carried on and cleared the pavement as well - as I realised he would have to cross that to reach safety. It suddenly made me remember that when I was young the first sign of snow saw all the dads out front frantically shovelling show away (just like they go mad at the first sign of Christmas wrapping paper and start collecting it into a black bag). When did the DIY snow clearing habit die? Thanks for the reminder.
