Shine Young Producers Programme

The makers of Spooks, T4, Masterchef, One Born Every Minute and Got to Dance are looking for the young Writers, directors, filmmakers, presenters and producers of tomorrow to be paid apprentices in a new production unit making their own shows and professional content.

A team of eight 18-24 year olds, non-graduates with a passion and demonstrable talent for creating innovative video content will be recruited initially, with applications encouraged from candidates from diverse or less advantaged backgrounds.

Recruits will be nurtured across a year to become a professional production unit through a tailored training programme, alongside a structured mentoring programme involving staff from across the Shine Group companies.

After twelve months, each will either have the opportunity to stay and continue to work on projects, apply for roles on productions within Shine Group or leave having gained industry recognised accreditations and a year’s experience.
