Sending a message

Hi, I seem to be having trouble with replying to messages that have been sent to me. I type out the reply, but....how do I send that reply? Iv'e sent messages before, so obviously I'm missing something here, maybe my brain as when your near 80 things do go wrong. Have contacted Liz but I think she is rather busy at this time. Please can someone spell it out for me?

Hello Roy

After you've finished typing your reply look at the area below the box you've typed in. You should see smiley faces with a message saying "click to insert" and below these is a blue "send" button.
