Does anybody know of a seamstress in the area. I would like to check it an old jacket I am very fond of can be recreated from scratch and how much would it cost.

If you struggle to find anyone local my friend's business can do this. She's amazing and makes clothes privately as well as costume for tv and film.

Based in Lewisham though, so it depends if you are happy to travel!

This is a great place. They remodel and make from scratch too- pretty local, just round the back of FP station
