Save West Green Rd post office

I've lost count of how many petitions I signed to save the old post office on Green Lanes; yet they went ahead and closed it down (moved to a little shop further down the road).

Good luck to you but I'm not sure if anyone cares what people want!

I remember "protesting" when the PO at the other end of WGR was about to close. We were mainly old gits so we didn't march. We stood around and one or two of us may have brought chairs to sit on. The Postmaster wasn't too keen on our antics as he'd got a good package to give up the place. They should keep them open but a set-up within another shop is probably the best we can hope for.

Does the P.O. not realise just how many new homes are being built in Lawrence road and in Tottenham Hale and that have been built at Seven Sisters?

I suppose too that this is part of levelling up and building back better.
