Saturday runs in Finsbury park with Parkrun
Just started (they had their second run last Saturday) Parkrun is a free 5km run on Saturday mornings at 9.00am. Organised for fun and run by volunteers, it's you versus the clock and then a post run cup of coffee in the cafe.

As a seasoned 'parkrunner' (living near to the West London events in Bushy/Richmond parks) I came along to try out the Finsbury parkrun on Saturday and thought it was well organised and with a great (and tough) course. Toilets and a coffee shop right by the start/finish is a sure winner too. My thoughts on the parkrun are on my blog.
With all the people out running in the park on a Saturday morning I'm sure its going to grow pretty quickly into a very popular parkrun event and I wish it every success.
