It is a beauty both in and outside. I have fond memories of the jazz concerts held in the back too. Aaah Happy days;)) 

The pic shows what a harmonious and pleasing design and appearance the whole parade has — Victorian urban architecture at its best. I wonder if the architect is recorded, or whether it was all just a developer or builder using a pattern book?

John Cathles Hill in 1898-99. Here's the English Heritage listing (where his surname is misspelt Rill). Wikipedia entry for him, written by Hugh, here.  Also can search HoL for 'Cathles' nuggets.
