Roof insulation

Brrr
Cold here and we probably need to get the roof insulated.
Has anyone had a standard ladder/gardens house done recently?
1) How much should it cost?
2) Is there anyone local who is a recommended tradesperson?

Npower were doing a roof insulation deal at the end of last year, as are a lot of the utility companies. Our 3 bed ladder house was 149 pounds.

haringay did have a free programme for residents called HERE TO HELP
they had stopped doing it before,but it maybe worth calling them as they did my flat for free before
