Blimey!  A similar thing happened outside the old Hogshead pub next to M & S in Crouch End a few years ago.  We watched it out of our window while enjoying a chilled glass of something nice and were amused when all the parents started arriving in their Audis to collect their naughty children from the police.

"where one thug threw a litre-and-a-half bottle of Courvoisier at them". Any excuse for a journalist to show off that they can spell the names of flash imported liquor.

 

There have been crowds of kids from (I presumed) Campsbourne gathering here at night for more than a year. It can seem quite edgy and scary. What else are they going to do? Sit at home on their play stations and drip alcopop?
