Repair Cafe is a voluntary service run once a month at the All Good Bookshop on Turnpike Lane and other venues across the borough..
It’s a wonderful resource that aims to make us a bit more sustainable (fixing things instead of throwing them away and buying new), saving money and a good community offering.
They would love more people to use their service and also are on the lookout for more volunteers to do online admin and organisation as well as repair work.
Haringey Fixers run similar events at Lymington Avenue in Wood Green. the Kurdish Advice Centre on the Campsbourne Estate, Pages Lane in Muswell Hill and at the Broadwater Farm Community Centre.
The next Turnpike Lane event is on 15 June. See all listings here.
