Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Hi :) I'm having a new laminate floor put down in a couple of weeks and need to have a section of tiles removed in my front room in front of where a fire place used to be. The area will then need to be concreted / smoothed completely flat so that the floor can be laid over the top.

Any recommendations?

Thanks,

Celia

I can give you a bolster chisel and some laminate tools

I removed a tiled floor myself. The floor underneath was concrete so there was no need to level it in the end. I used thick underlay and that was enough. But you can get pre-mixed self levelling compound from B&Q.

Wow! Thank you :) We're not a very handy household (unfortunately) so thought we might have to find someone to do the job for us but if we could borrow your tools and you think it's pretty straightforward - yes, we'll give it a go!

If you would like to drop me your number I'll give you a ring to arrange (if that's okay?) enyioko@hotmail.com
