I've used a great Man with a Van, called Dale, a couple of times.

We've used Aussie Man and Van 3 times now. Competitive quotes, approachable people. The guys basically work their socks off. We moved from Turnpike Lane to Edmonton in December. When the guys arrived they weren't too happy with the estimator as it was a bit more than they thought. Nevertheless they worked for 12 hours with a half hour break and wouldn't leave until everything was where we wanted it. We paid £200 for the packing service, which means a guy shows up the day before and packs everything he can get his hands on. Saved us from dithering and it turned out to be money well spent. My wife even went to work for half the day! No charge for boxes etc which they pick up later. Also you save money by reserving the parking for them yourself ie just put some bins or traffic cones outside the night before(thanks for them Justin!)

We just used Handy Moves and they were very efficient and professional. We got a large van and two blokes for two hours for about £250, and they shifted 40 odd boxes and furniture very carefully and smoothly.

Do you need any boxes? - we've got about 30 of them, various dimensions, to get rid of. I've just put them on Freecycle but if you can pick them up in the next week of so, you're welcome to them.
