Well, it is true I found its "fascinator" most engaging , but was more surprised by its tolerance of nearby humans, it seems to have gone for the easy Harringay life , which, of course, is quite understandable....

That will probably be Henrietta waiting for her sardines. She's smart enough to recognise the person who feeds her and to stay out of reach of others.
I remember seeing a heron on the River Lea in Tottenham, which would stand facing away from the river in the afternoons. Rather than bothering to look for fish in the river, it would stand waiting for a fishy morsel or two that was regularly dispensed by a resident of an apartment overlooking the river.
