Reliable lady seeks cleaning work

My friend Marta ( Spanish mother tongue, with enough English to cope with domestic work ) is looking for casual house cleaning. Lives in Bruce Grove  but travel anywhere in Harringay is no problem. She is honest and experienced and can provide references. She expects to be paid £18.00 an hour.

Wow £18.00 an hour. That's very high for cleaning. Is there a reason for such  a high cost?

It's not high. Some ask £20 an hour

For comparison, an ethical starting point is the London Living Wage, which for 2024 is £13.15 per hour [link]. And a cleaner with multiple jobs likely doesn't get paid for the travel time between them.
