This popped into my Community Volunteer in tray today
National Energy Saving Week begins on Monday 19th October, organised by the Energy Saving Trust. Across the borough Haringey Council will be encouraging residents to reduce their carbon footprint, and in doing so saving both energy and money from their bills.
There is a full fortnight of events planned, including a workshop to introduce community carbon trading and a smarter driving simulator to learn how to drive more fuel-efficiently. Please see below for further details, and forward on to others who might be interested.
For more information please see the Haringey website or contact Francine Oddy in the Environmental Resources Team on 020 8489 3260
